Federal Grants
Federal Pell Grant
The Federal Pell Grant is for all students who demonstrate a significant degree of need. The amount of this award is determined by the student’s eligibility and enrollment status. The need is determined by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Federal Supplemental Equal Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Each year the College is allocated supplemental grant money to assist students who demonstrate appropriate financial need. FSEOG is awarded to those students with the lowest expected family contribution who also receive Pell Grants. Students must have unmet need in order to receive the FSEOG award.
Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
The Academic Competitiveness grant is awarded to undergraduate students who are Pell Grant-eligible and meet specific eligibility requirements. The maximum award for a first year eligible student is $750; the maximum award for a second year eligible student is $1300.
