Computer Requirements
To ensure the students' online learning experiences are as pleasant as possible, we recommend the following (minimum) hardware and software configurations:
| Computer & Processor: | 500 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher |
| Operating System: | Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, or later operating system |
| Memory: | 256 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher |
| Software: | Microsoft Office 2007 |
| Internet Browser: | Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 2.x or higher Disabled pop-up blockers |
| Drive & Display: | CD-ROM or DVD drive 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor |
| Hard disk: | 1.5 gigabyte (GB); a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive. |
In addition, students may need a word processor so that papers or other class materials can be sent as attachments to the instructor.
